Welcome to the “GPPnet The Green Public Procurement Network”
website.
Green public procurement (GPP) is a means to make public purchases
of goods and services ‘green’ by applying environmental
criteria to procurement procedures of Local Authorities and the
Public Administration.
This website illustrates the project GPPnet to citizens and informs
about the initiatives and the activities of the Province of Cremona
aimed at promoting the diffusion of green procurement habits.
The website is made up of six areas, each including different pages:
- WHAT: presents the project and the green
procurement network;
- WHO: introduces the project’s actors;
- HOW: describes
the activities and fields of action; proposes the green tenders;
- WHEN: appointments, conferences, meetings;

WHERE:
proposes links to web resources and provides contacts of the Provincial Administration;
- DONE!:the projects realised, the GPPinfoNET documentation
archive.
GPPnet is a project of the Provincial Administration of Cremona, co-financed by the European Commission under the Life Environment programme 2001.
